Education is the basis of all human progress. It is for the very reason that Catholic Diocese of Sulthan Bathery has started several schools, colleges and technical institutes under its corporate educational agency. Gurudev Arts and Science College , Mathil decorates a very vital space in imparting integral and holistic education with Tagorian spirituality in Kerala especially in Kannur and Kasargode region of south India.

The purpose of education for us, is not restricted itself to imparting bookish knowledge only but inculcate Christian values like wisdom, compassion, courage, humility, integrity and reliability in a student.

We encourage with academics, co-curricular activities, sports education and life skill-learning to mould young minds to be a better citizen.

We conducted continuous training to our teachers in order to facilitate them internationally competent and role models to inspire confidence and trust in their students to take up challenges in their constantly changing environment.
